Important Update: Camp 2020

Dear Camp Families,

 

It is with a heavy heart that we write to inform you that, for the first time in ninety-three years, Goldens Bridge Day Camp will not be opening this summer due to COVID-19. Our number one priority is, and has always been, the health and safety of our campers, staff, and our host community. The health risks posed by COVID-19 makes a safe opening impossible. 

 

This decision was made based on current guidance for camps from the CDC and in conjunction with local authorities. We will be reimbursing all fees already paid toward this summer. 

 

We share the heartache and disappointment of the campers and staff who were eagerly looking forward to being at camp this season. In the coming weeks, we are exploring ways to stay connected as a community in a safe way. If you have ideas, or if you would like to be involved in planning or hosting a (virtual) activity, please email us and we will loop you in. Otherwise, keep an eye out for our next communication.

 

Our hearts are lifted by looking ahead to Summer 2021. You can show your support for the Camp by signing up now for Summer 2021!
